Hey I'm Lauren. I believe I am a work in progress. I live in Sydney, 3rd year uni, dreaming of the day I can move out with my boyfriend. I find nothing more exciting than holidays in the snow. I get a little obsessed with documenting my life and trying to always improve myself. I feel like theres so much to take in and I'll never remember it all and that makes me sad. I find things all seem to work out a lot better if I focus on the present, though I'm naturally a very future oriented person. I tend to make decisions based on what I think will make my future better which can mean I don't always take life by the throat or I take the things I enjoy right now for granted, but I'm working on it. I used to want to be a doctor until I realised I pass out at the sight of blood. Such is life.

So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, comformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
